The Abydos Helicopter hieroglyphics, Abydos Temple. The original carving was for Seti I, dated 1290 to 1279 BC, and was recarved by his son, Rameses ll. The plaster has eroded over the years with both inscriptions partially visible, creating shapes of a helicopter, yacht, spaceship, and jet plane.
