The Vasa was an elaborately ornamented Swedish warship that sank in 1628 within 20 minutes of it’s launch. The King demanded an unprecedented 64 bronze canons. The heavy gun deck contributed to its instability causing it to sink. It is perfectly preserved and there is now a museum built around it.
