Jimmy Red Corn. The corn was grown by bootleggers in the islands close to Charleston,SC who found that it made spectacular hooch, or moonshine whiskey. It was brought back from the brink of extinction by renowned Southern farmer and seed saver Ted Chewning.Now, several farms grow this heritage corn.
