Eugene Bullard (Georgia, 1895-1961) the first African American fighter pilot (1916) for the French Foreign Legion. Also infantryman, WW2 spy, boxer, jazz drummer, night club owner, civil rights activist and coined the Black Swallow of Death by the Germans for his deeds in both world wars.
