Simo Häyhä also known as the “White Death” was a Finnish sniper during WWII in the winter wars of 1939-40 with 505 confirmed kills, most of which were achieved with a Finnish-produced M/28-30 only using the rifles iron sight. He lived a quiet life after the war and died in 2002 from natural causes.
