Every year the Nuevo Vallarta Sea Turtle Preserve in Nayarit, Mexico releases thousands of sea turtles into the Pacific Ocean with the help of volunteers who bring them to the beach just after they hatch in protected areas. These are newborn green sea turtles, currently listed as endangered. by
